Submissions Open for the Beluga™ Airbus Competition Challenge!
The TUPLES Consortium invites the Planning and Scheduling community to take on a logistics challenge drawn from real Airbus operations!
Our competition is built around optimizing the storage and movement of aircraft components carried by the Beluga XL an essential part of the intricate aircraft assembly process. Participants will tackle two competition facets: a Scalability Challenge, solving increasingly complex planning problems in Deterministic and Probabilistic tracks, and an Explainability Challenge, providing insights into why plans fail and how to refine them.
Show us your best solutions for trustworthy AI-driven planning!
🔹 Two Scalability Challenges:
– Deterministic: Find the shortest plan to organize jigs and aircraft parts in the required order.
– Probabilistic: Solve the problem under uncertain flight schedules.
🔹 Explainability Challenge: Develop methods to explain infeasibilities and alternative solutions, ensuring human planners can trust and adopt AI-driven plans.
